“If we are to achieve a richer culture, we must weave one in which each

diverse human gift will find a fitting place.”  Margaret Meade

By providing a creative and inclusive atmosphere, Art Beyond Limits seeks to strengthen communities by celebrating the diverse and powerful ways in which artists with and without developmental, mental and physical disabilities can thrive.

VIsion

Art Beyond Limits, a supportive vocational arts organization, serves adults and youth with developmental, mental, and physical disabilities, providing a professional studio environment for artistic development, gallery exhibition, and representation, along with a social atmosphere among peers

mission

Art Beyond Limits will create an equitable framework that supports an exchange of ideas between a range of artists, not a one-size-fits-all approach. In collaboration with museums and galleries, businesses and other organizations, Art Beyond Limits will bring forth the most unique exhibitions that are heartfelt, inspirational and meaningful by artists of all abilities, that are beyond our imagination

Approach

The focus of our activity is to provide artists with a diverse set of opportunities that allow them to develop as artists and gain experiences important for all growing professionals. We achieve this through the following four ways:

1

Studio Arts

Program

This is the focus of our work, through which artists experiment, develop and create their artwork in a supported and professional environment.

2

Vocational Arts and Exhibitions Program

We are dedicated to creating opportunities for our artists to make, market and earn income from their work. We will showcase and promote them through group and individual exhibitions

3

Community Arts Program

Create opportunities for the general public and other artists to join our artists in the art-making process through community-based workshops, collaborative projects,

events and exhibitions.

4

Arts Training Outreach for Educators

Partner with educators, students and parents to offer supplemental arts opportunities and provide training for faculty in the arts for more meaningful inclusion outcomes
